What is Shades of Red?

Shades of Red is an illustrated webnovel.  Similarly to a webcomic, Shades of Red is updated weekly with new chapters.  While these chapters may be shorter than those of a standard novel, they still contain more development than any single comic page could.  To start reading, just click on the Chapters button.  To read a more in-depth FAQ, click here.

October 23rd - Poor Estimations of Time
Well, it took longer than expected to get the art done for the new page.  I've been preparing for the panels I'll be running at Anime South, including the Shades of Red panel, so I've been a bit bogged down.  In any case, Part One of Shades of Red is now up!
If you'll be attending Anime South in Destin next month, be sure to attend the Shades of Red panel in the Main Events room on Saturday.  I'll be screening "Shades of Red - Prelude", the award-winning Fan Film, before the SoR Voice Acting Event.  If you didn't make it one of the previous SoR Voice Acting Events, I'll explain... The art of the former webcomic is arranged in a series of slides, and volunteers are given scripts so that they can act out the roles of the cast of Shades of Red.  It's always been a lot of fun and I'm really looking forward to running it again!  Roles fill up fast so if you want in on it, be sure to show up early for the panel.

October 11th - It Begins... Again.
The new Shades of Red has finally arrived!  I've been working on this for some time.  Most of the site is still lacking content, but the most important part is up.  You can find the Prologue of the first story arc in the Chapters section, and Part One will be coming very soon.  You can find out more about the major change in the FAQ, and soon the old webcomic will be archived in the Gallery.

The goal is to try to get Part One up as soon as possible, and weekly updates will begin immediately after that!  So keep checking back!
